This was a really interesting project as it was our first shopping mall design project with 4 storeys of retail space to cover. This mall was to provide a new retail experience that integrated with a lot of technological devices targeted at young and tech savvy demographics. Given the requirement to make the space as attractive and photogenic as possible within the planned budget, we obviously scratched our heads and came to this approach which the client was happy with, however, half way through the development, the plan to open it as a new experiential retail mall was called off.
